The “Ask Me About 13” Bracelets are symbolic to the mission of The Covering House and 100% of proceeds for each necklace sold goes directly to support our organization.
The bracelets measure 7 inches long. The circle is 2.5 cm in diameter.
All bracelets come ready for gift giving in a small bag with cards explaining the meaning of the bracelet. We hope that when you wear this bracelet, you will be a voice for those who do have one. An advocate for our girls who have lost their freedom in many ways.
Our logo design is the log cabin quilt pattern. During the Civil War, people in the Underground Railroad would hang quilts with the log cabin motif to represent a safe home for those seeking refuge.
The Number 13
The number 13 represents that “the average age of entry into prostitution for a child victim in the United States is 13.” (U.S. Department of Justice). When wearing this number, you are taking on the challenge to share one major fact about trafficking with your community. You are taking a stand against this modern day slavery and bringing awareness to the issue. Join us as we fight for a world without slavery; a cause we need your help to accomplish!
